Fire Permits
The season begins April 1 and ends on October 31. No one is allowed to light a fire in the open air, except:
- for cooking or for warmth;
- with a fire permit.
This permit is issued by the Fire Chief at Town Hall during normal office hours. There is no fee for this permit. During the fire season, a licensee must comply with the conditions set out in the Act on the prevention of forest fires and regulations of the MNR before making an open air fire.
