Employment opportunities for college and university students
The Municipality will be hiring post-secondary students this summer for the following positions:
- two (2) public works helpers
- four (4) park maintenance helpers
- one (1) coordinator of the Claude Larose Recreation Centre summer program
- two (2) tourist information clerks for the Gilles Gagnon Welcome Centre
The above positions are subject to confirmation of municipal, provincial and federal funding as well as certain program conditions.
Anticipated starting date: early May 2023
Duration of employment: approximately 15 weeks
Salary: between $17.13 and $18.00 per hour, proportionate to the experience acquired within the Corporation of the Town of Hearst
Students interested in the positions must submit a Summer Employment Application form and a résumé, at the Town Hall reception located at 925 Alexandra Street or by email at townofhearst@hearst.ca, no later than Thursday, March 23, 2023.
NOTE: Students who already submitted their résumé since January 1st, 2023 do not have to resubmit.
