AGRIVA Markets
Again this year, AGRIVA Markets will take place at the Heritage Sawmill Marketplace on July 25th and August 8th and 22nd. The last AGRIVA market will take place downtown on September 12th. These activities provide the opportunity to purchase fresh vegetables, fruits and crafts directly from the local producers or artisans and promote local entrepreneurship as well. It can include fruits, vegetables, flowers, preserves, bakery products, approved meats, crafts and any other value-added products. The producer must come within 250 km of Hearst. To create a more festive atmosphere, entertainment will be part of the Farmers Market Site. | Facebook

 

FALL

Hearst Country Partridge Festival.
The Jean-Claude “Butch” Bouchard partridge tournament is held every year in mid-September. Many activties are offered including kid’s activities, meals and good music.

A Taste of Hearst
This year’s edition of the Taste of Hearst event will be extended over two days of activities on September 11 and 12..  Many exhibitors will have the opportunity to display their products and their know-how by offering their creations to the public for a taste.

The activities will be held downtown under tents on George Street. The culinary events will start Friday followed by a Sausage ‘n’ Beer Fest. Saturday the culinary events will continue followed by the second edition of the Rib Fest.
Musically, each evening will be hosted by a Quebec singer who will transport you in a festive and colorful. It is also as part of the “Taste of Hearst” Fair that the Madness Squash champion will be crowned.

Hearst Carnival

Midnight Magic
Every year on the first Friday of  December, the downtown merchants open their doors until midnight. It’s the perfect opportunity to prepare for the holiday season with this beautiful magical atmosphere.

Fishing Tournaments
The Hearst fishing and hunting club presents three tournaments throughout the year: the first one is the ice fishing tournament on Johnson Lake (3rd weekend of February) that is addressed to youth in the community aged 18 and younger.

The second tournament is the ice fishing tournament on Lake Pavibiska (3rd weekend of March) open to the entire population of the region.
The third tournament is the spring tournament on the Hearst chain of lakes – Pivabiska, Wolverine, Hanlan and St-Thérèse (3rd weekend of June).
