Voters’ List

The Voters’ List is a list of individuals who are eligible to vote in the 2022 Municipal and School Board Elections. If you wish to vote, it is important to verify that your information is included and accurate.

The Hearst Voters’ List may be consulted at:

  • Town Hall, located at 925 Alexandra Street, Monday to Friday, between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.;
  • The Hearst Public Library, located at 801 George Street, Monday to Thursday, between 9:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Friday between 9:30 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., and Saturday between 9:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.;
  • by calling the Clerk’s department at 705-362-4341.

Additions or corrections may be made at Town Hall from September 1st to October 21st, 2022, or on October 24th, 2022, Elections Day, at the Place des Arts de Hearst.


Advance Voting Days

Those who will be unable to vote on Election Day, October 24th, 2022, may cast their ballot during Advance Voting Days held at the Hearst Town Hall.

Voting Day

Voting day will be held at Place des Arts de Hearst, located at 75 9th Street.

Appointment of Proxy

If you are an eligible elector and will be unable to vote on any of the available voting days, you may appoint another eligible elector to vote on your behalf by appointing a voting proxy.

Appointment of Voting Proxy forms are available:

  • at the Clerk’s office, at Hearst Town Hall located at 925 Alexandra Street, until Friday, October 21st, 2022; and
  • on Election Day, October 24th, 2022, at the Place des Arts de Hearst, located at 75 9th Street.

It is important to remember that the person making the appointment must sign the form in front of a witness and the elector appointed as the proxy must sign the form in front of the Clerk or her designate.


Be advised that ALL electors MUST present proof of identity and residence
to be given the right to vote. 

If such identification cannot be provided, a Decleration of Identity may be
completed to allow a person to vote.
