Public Library

The Hearst Public Library offers citizens a variety of educational, informative and entertaining literature. Newspapers, magazines, encyclopedias, children's books, novels, non fiction books, biographies, CDs and more await you at your public library! The library also has videos, DVDs and computers providing internet access for library users.

Université de Hearst Library

The Maurice-Saulnier library offers reference services as well as computerized research from internet databases. The library also offers a wide range of literature, newspapers, magazines in both French and English. Several are available on DVD’s and on Internet. The students can also count on inter-library loan services available for Canadian universities.

Media

Media is a means of mass communication, such as newspapers, radio, and television and plays a very important role in a community. We have an interesting variety of community media in Hearst which contributes to the effervescence of the community.
