REQUEST FOR TENDERS
FOR TRAFFIC LINE PAINTING AND OTHER PAVEMENT MARKINGS
CONTRACT 24-03
Sealed tenders on forms supplied by the Municipality will be received by Mr. Luc Léonard, Director of Public Works and Engineering Services, until 3:30 p.m., Thursday, May 9th, 2024 at the Town Hall office located at 925 Alexandra St., Hearst.
The Scope of Work under this Contract includes the application of traffic line painting and pavement markings within the boundaries of the Town of Hearst.
The Contractor shall furnish all materials, equipment, labor, and related items necessary to complete the work of line painting and pavement markings, including but not limited to center line, dividing lines, intersection stop lines and crosswalk lines as shown on the Drawings. If mutually agreeable between parties, the Contract may be renewed under the same or similar terms and conditions for successive one (1) year periods, but shall not exceed a total Contract length of five (5) years.
The work shall be completed by July 12th, 2024 and a maximum of fifteen (15) working days shall be respected between the beginning and the end of the works.
Please note that the tender must be accompanied with a bid bond or certified cheque for 10% of the tender amount.
Plans, drawings, specifications and tender form are available on the MERX procurement website or by written request to lleonard@hearst.ca. Tenders will be opened publicly at 3:35 p.m., local time, on May 9th, 2024, at the Hearst Town Hall. The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.
