Conference with Barb Stegemann
Hearst, Ontario – Hearst Economic Development Services is proud to host a double event with Barb Stegemann, author, social business innovator and motivational bilingual speaker to celebrate National Entrepreneurship Month.
Barb Stegemann is known all over the world for her unique entrepreneurial vision. She became the first woman from Atlantic Canada to land a venture-capital deal on the popular TV show Dragon’s Den for The 7 Virtues Beauty and creating her social enterprise. Her company sources organic, fair trade essential oils from countries experiencing turmoil. Since then, Stegemann has been named one of Canada’s Top 100 Most Powerful Women in Canada, but has also won numerous other awards and titles. She is the author of the Best-Seller The 7 Virtues of Philosopher Queen and has been the object of the documentary Perfume War, directed by Michael Melski, which has also won many awards. Stegemann’s perfumes are sold at Sephora and are among the most popular perfumes across Canada & America.
Therefore, the community is invited at l’Université de Hearst to meet with Ms. Stegemann during a cocktail/dinner on Tuesday October 22nd, starting at 5:30 pm. Following will be a free conference where people will have a chance to better understand the speaker’s vision and career.
