Prix Panache Caisse populaire de Hearst 2015
HEARST CELEBRATES YOUTH
Thursday, November 19, 2015, more than 150 people attended the Caisse Populaire de Hearst Panache Awards. Desneiges Larose and Julie Cheff, masters of ceremony animated the evening while our youth provided table service, recording and editing video and technology.
In total, twelve awards were given by the sponsors.
The winners are:
Young Professional 1 –
Villeneuve Construction Co. Ltd.
This award is for a youth from outside Hearst who chose to live and have a career in Hearst.

This award is for a youth from Hearst who has done his/her studies outside Hearst and has returned to live and work here.

This prize is awarded to a young company that stands out for all of its management and development and growth strategy.

Business Succession – Hearst BIA
This prize is awarded to a youth that has completed all the major elements in the buying or succession of a business.

This award is given to a youth that has contributed to the promotion of Hearst through his/her actions.

Volunteer of the Year – Hearst EDC
This award is for a youth who is known for his involvement at the community level, economic development or athletics.
Chantal Chabot, Controller,
Columbia Forest Products, Levesque Plywood Division
This award is presented to a youth who has studied at the Université de Hearst, Hearst campus and who works in a business or organization in the region. It aims to recognize the professional success of its graduates.

This award is for a youth who has studied at the Collège Boréal, Hearst campus and who works in a business or organization in the region. It aims to recognize the professional success of its graduates.
Christine Grenier-Tremblay, childhood intervener, École publique Passeport Jeunesse
School Perseverance – Radio CINN
This award recognizes a young person who is known for his/her efforts and perseverance in his/her academic progress, despite the obstacles and difficulties.
Her mother accepted the award.
Surpassing oneself –
Partners for Employment Centre
This award is to honor a youth who has made accomplishments that have made him an example of courage and determination.
Youth Initiative – Pepco
This award recognizes an outstanding project aimed at youth for its positive contribution to the community. This project also needs to be organized by youth.

Hearst sur les Planches, 400e, organized by Valérie Picard and the Conseil des arts de Hearst
Claudine Locqueville accepted the award.
Jury Selection – CIBC
For this award, the jury did not pass under silence the achievement of the two local youth to 2015 Skills Canada National Competition in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The whole community followed all the steps to get them to the finals and finish with the bronze medal.
Zacharie Larose and Maxime Marineau
Mr. Roger Sigouin, Mayor of the Town of Hearst, presented a certificate of recognition to Zachary Larose, Maxime Marineau and their teacher Mario Blouin for their bronze medal at the 2015 Skills Canada National Competition in San Paulo, Brazil.
